A private Mediterranean-style pavilion anchors this Noosa garden, its white archway and timber beams opening onto a resort-scale pool crossed by a line of circular natural stone stepping pads. Nearby, a contemporary open breezeway takes its cues from somewhere further afield — the clean, sun-bleached geometry of a Palm Springs or Hollywood Hills estate, reimagined for a Queensland garden.

Natural stone runs through the whole design, from the stepping pads to a stacked-stone feature pillar marking the garden's entry, grounding the more graphic architectural moments in something textural and enduring. Lush sub-tropical planting — palms, deep burgundy cordyline, bougainvillea spilling over white rendered walls — does the rest, softening the architecture into a genuine garden rather than a display piece.
